The market hits ¥70M/$9.7M which is up +65% versus yesterday and down -64% versus last week(Womens Day)
Kung Fu Panda 4 will hold its 2nd round of pre-screenings tomorrow and on Sunday. For tomorrow it has $560k+ in pre-sales and is projected to make around $2M and then just a bit shy of that on Sunday.
The Movie Emperor’s re-release flops grossing just $340k today.
The Russian movie The Challenge which was partialy filmed in space on the ISS also flops grossing just a bit over $100k

#**Other stuff:**
The next holywood releases currently scheduled are Kung Fu Panda 4 on the 22nd and Godzilla vs Kong 2 on the 29th. Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes has also been confirmed but has no date yet.
The Boy and the Heron has now been confirmed for an April 3rd release. It will kick off quite a rich month of Japanese animation with Digimon Adventure 02: The Beginning releasing on the 20th followed by another Miyazaki movie Howl’s Moving Castle on the 30th April alongside SPYxFAMILY CODE: White which will release on the same day.
On top of that today we also had a confirmation that Haikyu!! The Movie: Decisive Battle at the Garbage Dump will release in China. No date yet.
