I like Titanic and have watched it quite a few times, but only recently I noticed something. Well, can’t take all the credit, it was a friend who suddenly asked me, “Were most people sleeping when it hit the iceberg?” that made me look up when this happened in the real Titanic. Turns out it was 11:40 pm, as per this site; [https://americanhistory.si.edu/collections/nmah_1416178](https://americanhistory.si.edu/collections/nmah_1416178)
About an hour and 38 minutes into the movie, just before they hit the iceberg, you see the clock in the background here, which is exactly 11:40.

I thought that was kind of neat.
